The 10GBASE-T SFP+ transceiver module delivers the flexibility and port density well known to the SFP+ form-factor, utilising Cat 6a UTP structured cabling for network connectivity. It is a power-optimised solution for lengths up to 30m, engineered to deliver a minimum power saving of at least 0.5W per port compared to an equivalent embedded 10GBASE-T RJ45 for the same length (Cat 6a, up to 30m). These power savings can add-up in ToR, mid-row and end-of-row switch connectivity. It’s the alternative compared with standard SFP+ SR/LR fibre optics, which uses standard-based technology with the familiar RJ45 connector and provides backward compatibility with legacy networks.

- Facilitates deployment of PoE devices where power outlets are not available - Reduces installation and network equipment costs by eliminating the need for electrical wiring - Provides power over existing network cabling to PoE devices such as access points, IP cameras, and IP phones - Lightweight, compact and easy to install - Supports 802.3af / 802.3at - 10/100/1000 interface provides flexibility for all types of connections D-Link’s DPE-301GI 1-Port PoE Injector is used to provide I.T. Professionals with the benefits of Power over Ethernet (PoE), even when other devices in the network do not support it. With PoE technology, low voltage DC power and Ethernet data signals are combined on a single network cable, which facilitates powering of end devices like IP Cameras, wireless Access Points (APs), and VoIP Phones. This reduces cable clutter, eliminates the need for dedicated electrical outlets on the wall, ceiling, or other unreachable places, reduces installation time, and lowers costs. The DPE-301GI device supports Gigabit speeds, and can connect to 10Mbps, 100Mbps or 1000Mbps through the RJ-45 interface. This device also supports the IEEE 802.3af and 802.3at PoE/PoE+ standards, which ensures interoperability with other standards-based PoE and PoE+ devices. Small and compact, the DPE-301GI is lightweight, has integrated mounting slots, and is easy to install. The DPE-301GI provides a power and data connection to a PoE device over a single network cable. It allows I.T. Professionals to mount their PoE devices virtually anywhere in a building, such as on ceilings or near entryways, and eliminates the need for nearby power outlets and attached power supplies. The DPE-301GI combines electrical power with a Gigabit network connection and produces a Gigabit PoE signal, allowing a single Ethernet cable to carry both data and power to a device. Also known as a “midspan PSE”, the DPE-301GI PoE injector can be used when deploying a multi-port PoE switch is impractical or not feasible. It has two 10/100/1000 RJ-45 ports. One port is for LAN IN, which is the network connection, typically connected to a non-PoE switch or router. The other port isfor PoE OUT, which is the connection that provides both power and data signal to the end device (PD). The DPE-301GI can be located anywhere on the Ethernet link, although it’s typically placed near the switch/router. Location of the injector does not impact the maximum 100m (328ft.) distance from the switch/router to the end device. Support for IEEE 802.3at ensures the DPE-301GI can power PoE+ devices up to 30W, such as high power 802.11ac APs and IP cameras with PTZ motors, heaters and blowers. PoE Injector and PoE Splitter Tandem Both the DPE-301GI (injector) and DPE-301GS (splitter) can be used together, as a complete PoE transport system. This is especially useful when a PoE switch is not available, and the end device is not PoE capable, but the Network Administrator still prefers the benefits of PoE. Simply install the injector close to the network switch, install the splitter close to the end device, and plug in the cables.
The DPS-200A, DPS-500A and DPS-700 redundant power supplies (RPS) are designed to conform to the wattage requirements of D-Link’s Fast Ethernet and Gigabit switches. They provide a low-cost, simple solution to the problem of a failure of the internal power-supply of an Ethernet switch, which can result in the shutdown of that switching device, the devices attached to its ports, or an entire network. Supporting full output power for the switch, these redundant power supplies can maximize the availability of the switching device. Redundant Power Backup Each D-Link® RPS is equipped with an integrated detection circuit that continuously monitors the switching device’s internal power supply. In the event of a power interruption, the redundant power supply is immediately triggered so that the LAN switch and its connected devices can continue providing service. This results in a more reliable network infrastructure and protects the network from a single failure of a network device power supply. Easy and Flexible Deployment Deployment of a DPS-200A, DPS-500A or DPS-700 does not necessitate any change in configuration of the LAN switch. Each RPS is equipped with a universal internal power supply and can be connected to any AC main power source from 90VAC to 264VAC, 47Hz to 63Hz through a standard AC power cable. The DPS-200A and DPS-500A power supplies are modular, and can be mounted on benchtop/desktop as independent power supply units, or installed in a DPS-800 chassis, which holds two power supplies and mounts in a standard 19-inch equipment rack. The DPS-700 is a 1U high 19-inch standard-size rack mount power supply designed specifically for D-Link’s PoE switches. Not only does it provide power backup in the event of a power supply failure in the PoE switch, but it also supports PoE power load sharing. It provides an additional 370W of PoE power budget to the switch to support more powered devices. All D-Link redundant power supplies ship with the necessary cables. The one exception is for the DPS-3000-10TC Gigabit switch when used with the DPS-200A power supply. In this case, a DPS-CB150-2PS cable must be separately ordered. DPS-800 Rack-Mount Chassis Each DPS-800 chassis can accommodate up to two DPS-200A or DPS-500A power supply modules in an equipment rack. The DPS-800 occupies 1.25U of rack space and allows users to save space with efficient cabling. All redundant power supply units installed in the chassis connect directly to their power sources and are hot-swappable. D-Link’s 10G SFP+ Module series are hot-swappable SFP+ transceivers that plug into SFP+ slots on switches and support 10G Ethernet. The D-Link 10GBASE SFP+ Module Series transceivers offer customers a wide variety of 10G Ethernet connectivity options for data centers, enterprise wiring closets, and service provider transport applications. Enhanced Small Form-factor Pluggable FormatThe transceivers use the Enhanced Small Form-factor Pluggable format (SFP+). The SFP+ form factor is smaller than other form factors such as Xenpak, X2, and 10G XFP, ensuring lower costs, lower power disruption, and higher port density. They provide the necessary signal amplification for data to be transmitted to the network cable from the port, and vice versa, for the port to receive data from the network cable. Hot PluggableAll D-Link transceivers are hot-pluggable. You can connect a transceiver while the system is powered on without causing any problems. This permits modules to be added or removed without interrupting the network. 10G Ethernet speedsThe transceivers all support 10G Ethernet, which results in very fast data transmissions of up to 10Gbit/s. This is 10 times faster than Gigabit Ethernet and enables the switch to handle faster and higher data transmissions, making it very suitable for business needs. Digital Diagnostics Monitoring (DDM)Several of the 10G SFP+ Modules feature DDM real-time monitoring of critical parameters, including transmitted and received power, temperature, and voltage. This allows for convenient monitoring of the module’s fiber connection and early detection of problems. Bi-directional WDM transmissionBi-directional WDM transmission allows data to be transmitted simultaneously in both directions on a fiber cable. This helps you save on the cost of deploying extra fiber cables as well as allows for more flexible bandwidth allocation.
The DPS-200, DPS-300, DPS-500/500DC, DPS-600, and DPS-700 redundant power supplies (RPS) are designed to conform to the wattage requirements of D-Link’s Ethernet and Gigabit switches. They are external RPS units enclosed in solid metal cases with sockets to AC or DC power sources on one end, and connect to a switch’s internal power supply on the other end. They provide a low-cost, simple solution to the problem of an inadvertent failure of the internal power-supply of an Ethernet switch, which can result in the shutdown of that switch, the devices attached to its ports, or an entire network. Supporting full output power for the switch, these redundant power supplies can maximize the power availability of the switching device. Redundant Power Backup Each D-Link RPS is equipped with an integrated detection circuit that continuously monitors the switch’s internal power supply. In the event of a power interruption, the redundant power supply is immediately triggered so that the LAN switch and its connected devices can continue providing service. This results in a more reliable network infrastructure and protects the network from going down due to failure of a single network device power supply. Easy and Flexible Deployment Deployment of a DPS series device does not require any change in the configuration of the LAN switch. With the exception of the DPS-500DC, each RPS is equipped with a universal internal power supply, and can be connected to any AC power source from 90 V AC to 264 V AC, 47 Hz to 63 Hz through a standard AC power cable. The DPS-500DC provides the same output power as the DPS-500, but connects to a DC power source instead of an AC power source. Rack Mounted Power Supplies: DPS-600/700 The DPS-600 and DPS-700 are 19-inch standard-size rack mount power supplies designed to improve flexibility in supporting PoE (Power over Ethernet) equipment. The DPS-700 also supports 1+1 power capabilities. When cascading the DPS-700 with a device’s internal power supply, the power system can provide an additional power budget to the device.
